Jesús Alejandro De Sousa

J. Alejandro De Sousa joined ICMAB-CSIC and the MULFOX/Spinmad group as a Post-doc researcher in April 2023. Previously, he obtained his degree in chemistry (Licenciatura) at the University of the Andes (Venezuela, 2015) and completed the Master degree in Fundamental and Applied Electrochemistry at the same university (Venezuela, 2018). In 2018 J. Alejandro joined the NANOMOL department at ICMAB-CSIC for his Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Núria Crivillers and Prof. Dr. Concepció Rovira (ICMAB, CSIC) with a Severo Ochoa FIP scholarship, in the frame of the research line “Molecular materials for electronics”. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in Materials Science (Autonomous University of Barcelona) with “International” and “Cum laude” mentions in December of 2022. His current post-doctoral research focuses on spin-thermoelectric devices (Spin caloritronics).
